ACTIVITIES

PNW Conference
Each spring semester our club travels (costs covered) to compete in the Pacific Northwest ASCE Student Conference. A list of the available events including Concrete Canoe, Surveying, and Environmental can be found at the following site:

Networking & Workshops
Throughout the semester we work to bring our members presentations from local firms, resume tips from professionals, and chances to interact with the CE Department Head in order to provide a more comprehensive knowledge of how to succeed both at Montana State University and after graduation.

Campus Involvement
Over the course of the school year there are many opportunities to volunteer and interact with the community. These events include MATHCOUNTS, the Annual Science Olympiad, and Engineer-a-thon. Each of these events helps teach and inspire young students to pursue STEM fields through competition and live demonstrations.

ABOUT
We have 4 different engineering competitions we compete in. Steel bridge, concrete canoe, surveying and sustainable solutions. all of which come to a head at the Pacific Northwest ASCE Student Conference. The 2023 host University of British Columbia.

For those not interested in participating at the conferences, we seek to offer exposure to local and global firms while simultaneously developing relevant professional skills through workshops. For instance, we have had events with HDR, Boeing, and Sanderson Stewart. Furthermore, we have sent members to ASCE's national student leadership seminars and regional assembly meetings in locations such as San Francisco, CA and Reno, NV.
